Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ughelli Correspondents Chapel, Rt Hon Sunday Apah has lost his beloved father in-law of Pa. Anthony Fakorede at 95.
Late Pa Fakorede who passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023, was a respected figure in Ifon community.
In a statement by his Son in-law Rt Hon Sunday Apah, “Late Pa. Fakorede Born on 10th November, 1928, in Ifon, lived a remarkable life of dedicated service to family, and community.
“He was highly regarded for his contributions to the local community and his unwavering commitment to the betterment of society.
According to Apah, “Throughout his years, Pa. Fakorede actively participated in various social and philanthropic initiatives, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.
“Papa’s memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the positive impact he made in his community.
“His legacy of compassion, dedication, and service will continue to inspire others for generations to come.”
